Soo Much To Do...So Little Time

Man Oh Man. It seems that we have been off the radar for a while. Hey guess thats what happens when you gotta mission to change the media in this world.

Well first we have plenty of updates. Starting on March 6th , 2007, Rookie TV has had out first entire Season One premiering on local cable access CAN TV Channel 19 and various cable access networks in selected cities.

Being realists as we are at Rookie TV, we understand that public access networks are not the filet mignon of network television. Especially with all the viral videos that are being produced with the skill of a mitochondria, grabbing the spotlight. The competition out there is overwhelming...really. lol

All kidding aside, we've been using this time to develop great new visual pleasure for all of our fans, new and old.

Rookie Films Corp will finally premiere the much anticipated sketch comedy series, Rookie TV.

As you all know we have been shedding blood and sweat to bring you this hilarious meal of comedy from the heart and soul of Chicago.

We are currently broadcasting in Chicago, Channel 19 on Tuesdays at 10PM, St. Louis, MO Channel 22 Saturdays at 1pm. Check the website regularly to see when we will be coming to your town. Thanks always for the support and love. We appreciate every response and comment. Keep comedy alive.

RookieTV to Co-host UIC Radio 10/16/06

On Monday, 10/16/06, Rookie TV has been invited to Co-host on UIC Radio. UIC Radio is a long standing college radio station catering to univerisity students and anyone over the internet. Their sole purpose is to entertain, inform and educate UIC, Chicagoland and everyone across the world through broadcasts that feature an eclectic array of music, talk, new and public affairs.

Rookie TV will be featured and co-hosting Monday night at 9:30pm. Don't miss it, and listen live.

Rookie Films Intro

Rookie TV is a diverse sketch comedy show that features comedy skits, short films, animations, music videos, spoofs, and internet radio (hosted by David Watson). The show is wildly funny and features the talents of not only Chicago actors and producers, but submissions from all over the nation. This collaborative effort at best will show the community that there is hope for the local artist to gain exposure while representing the voice of the target demographic of 16-30 years of age.

The show will be featured on cable access channels in Chicago, IL; Bronx, NY; San Jose, CA; Minneapolis, MN; and St. Louis, MO. The radio show caters to those who prefer their comedy in radio format. Comedy bits and interviews are intermingled with the likes of original music and beats, and interviews form local and prominent acts from all over.

This is the official blogspot of Rookie Films and its products dedicated to all of our fans. In case yall new to the movement here is a lil info: Rookie TV was founded by Willie White IV (Rookie) and Chris W. Jordan.
